Nicom IT Services Goes Green for a Good Cause in Kedington!
The community spirit in Kedington shone brightly recently, thanks to a fantastic initiative by local business, Nicom IT Services. They hosted a hugely successful e-waste recycling event with a heartwarming goal: to raise funds for the Royal British Legion in Kedington.
For those unfamiliar, e-waste, or electronic waste, refers to discarded electrical or electronic devices. From old mobile phones and broken laptops to tangled cables and outdated televisions, this type of waste can be harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly. Nicom IT Services recognized this challenge and turned it into an opportunity to both help the planet and support a vital local charity.
The event, held at The british legion hall in Kedington, saw a steady stream of residents bringing along their unwanted electronics. The team at Nicom IT Services were on hand to efficiently collect and sort the items, ensuring they would be responsibly recycled. Thanks to the generosity of the Kedington community, Nicom IT Services successfully raised a wonderful £350 for the Kedington branch of the Royal British Legion. These vital funds will go directly towards supporting the important work the Legion does for the local area.
