Updates on appointments, opening hours, and a new referral reward!

Here at Nicom IT Services, we’re always looking for ways to make things easier for you when you need IT repairs. We know that dealing with broken tech or frustrating computer issues is stressful enough, so getting the help you need shouldn’t be a hassle. Based on your recent feedback, we’re making a few changes to how we operate, and we also wanted to share some exciting community news with you.

No More Appointments Needed

First off, we’ve taken a close look at how our appointment system has been working. While it made sense at the time, we’ve realized it just hasn’t been a great fit for everyone. Tech emergencies rarely happen on a neat schedule!

Because of this, we are officially scrapping the requirement to book ahead. Please feel free to just drop in and see us whenever you have an issue. If you know your visit might take a bit longer—perhaps for a complex repair consultation or a business setup—we do still encourage booking a slot so we can set aside plenty of uninterrupted time for you. However, our door is always open, and we will always do our absolute best to see you if you just arrive.

Extended Evening Hours

We’ve also been listening closely to your thoughts regarding our recent decision to close on Saturdays. We know this change has made things a bit tricky for those of you who work standard hours during the week.

To help balance this out and give you more flexibility, starting next week, we are extending our hours on Wednesdays and Fridays. We’ll now be staying open until 6:00 PM rather than 5:00 PM on these days. We hope this extra time provides a much better window for you to comfortably drop off or pick up your repairs after work.

British Legion Charity Disposal Scheme

On a community note, we want to share a quick update on our recent charity IT disposal scheme hosted over at the British Legion. We were absolutely blown away by the turnout!

Thank you to everyone who brought down their old, unwanted tech. It was a fantastic effort, and together we managed to safely and securely recycle a huge amount of old hardware, keeping it out of landfills while supporting a great cause. It was brilliant to see the community come together, and we are already looking at how we can run similar events in the future.

Real IT Rescue Stories

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be trying something a little different. We are going to be sharing a few short stories with you about how we’ve recently helped local people and businesses overcome some major IT hurdles. From recovering precious family files to saving local businesses from total system failures, we want to highlight the real-world impact that getting your tech sorted can have. Keep an eye for these.
